My name is Stephanie.
As a passionate educator with a deep love for the French language and culture, I founded My French Eloquence to share that passion with others.
I believe that every student has the potential to thrive and that learning occurs through errors, and I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and curiosity. I have always felt a natural affinity for teaching. Educational professionals have often remarked on my organic and intuitive approach, highly attuned to the unique needs of each student.

Born and educated in France, I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Languages from the Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux III University.
Shortly after relocating to Brisbane, I built a successful tutoring business, one of the first to offer online French lessons. I have worked with a variety of corporate clients including BHP Billiton/Bechtel, and created practical general, travel, business and cross-cultural courses.
​I later completed a Teaching and Learning Diploma with USQ and spent 10 years teaching French at Brisbane Grammar School, a top elite Brisbane secondary school focusing on levels 10-12. I also taught French immersion & Bilingual Year 2-4 classes in both private and public primary schools (Moreton Bay College & Whites Hill State College).

Today, I am fully dedicated to My French Eloquence, focusing on interactive, fun, small-group lessons.
My teaching combines full immersion with proven methods like the communicative approach and task-based learning (real life situations), ensuring every class is practical, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. My aim is to make learning French effective, enjoyable, and confidence-building.
